Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
Jordan is an AI career agent. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address and sign-in credentials, managed by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Career information you provide — your resume, job preferences, and notes.
- Application activity — the jobs you approve or skip, tailored materials, statuses and interview prep.
How we use it
- To match you with job openings and generate tailored resumes, cover letters and interview prep.
- To show your application tracker and enforce plan limits.
To generate materials, your resume and the relevant job posting are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, which processes them to produce a response. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Stakeholder investigations
When you approve a job, Jordan searches the public web for professional information about the people likely involved in hiring for it — such as their role, team, published work, talks and professional posts — and about the company. Jordan does not collect personal contact details or information about anyone’s private life, and it links each finding to its public source. If you are a professional who would like information about you removed from Jordan’s results, email us and we will remove it.
Filling applications for you
If you allow it, Jordan opens an employer’s application page in a private cloud browser run for us by Browserbase, fills in the answers you reviewed, and submits only after you confirm. Your answers, tailored resume and cover letter are sent to that employer’s application system when you submit. Each user has a separate browser profile; sessions are recorded by our browser provider for up to 7 days for debugging and then deleted. We keep a screenshot of the confirmation page as proof of submission. Voluntary demographic questions are never answered for you.
Chat with Jordan
Messages you send Jordan in the app are stored with your account so you can see your conversation, and are processed by OpenAI to generate replies. You can delete them by deleting your account.
Where it’s stored
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is accessible only to your account and to our servers.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time and permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account in the app. You can also email us to request deletion.
